General conditions of sale

The submission of an order to Hervé N. Sellier implies complete and unequivocal acceptance by the customer of these general conditions of sale.

Goods

Every effort is made to ensure that the products are described and presented accurately. However, in some cases the products may appear to be slightly different to the pictures due to photography. Hervé N. can not be held responsible for this.

Vegetable tanning is a completely natural process so different skins may have slightly different colors. In addition, tiny traces of veins and skin folds may appear on the leather. This is unavoidable in a natural material and will in no way lessen your belt’s life.

Ordering

Before any firm order is established, Hervé N. Sellier will send the customer an estimate by electronic mail.
The estimate will give the date the products will be ready for shipment, their price, and the shipping rates and conditions.
Eventual customs duties cannot be included in the estimate.
Your order will be confirmed by email.
The order will not be prepared until full payment is received for the merchandise and shipping.
Hervé N. Sellier reserves the right to refuse any order because of the customer’s failure to fulfill the obligations, and more generally to refuse any order of an abnormal nature in any respect whatsoever (for example, if Hervé N. Sellier considers the article impossible to produce or if the order is too big) or if there is a foreseeable problem in delivery.

Cancellations

According to the article L121-20-2 , L121-20-4 of the French consumption code , no cancellations are possible because the articles produced by Hervé N. Sellier are made solely to measure and to the customer’s specifications.

Prices

All prices are in euros and include any French Value Added Tax applicable on the date of the order.
Shipping charges are extra.

Payment

Payment is required at the time of ordering.
- France: by check, bank transfer or Paypal.
- Other countries: by international bank transfer or Paypal
Bank charges or Paypal fees are to be paid by the customer.

Delivery charges

The cost will be determined on an individual basis depending on the country, package weight and insurance.
The cost will appear on the estimate.

Delivery

The customer is responsible for providing correct delivery information at the time of ordering. In the event of any error in the delivery address, Hervé N. Sellier cannot be held responsible for failure to deliver the product.
The articles will be sent via the French post office (registered mail with advice of delivery).
Delivery time:
- France: at least 24 hours
- Other countries: at least 48 hours
These times are merely indicative and shall not constitute grounds for cancellation of the order by the customer nor a claim for any damages in the event of delay for any reason whatsoever.

The merchandise is shipped at the customer’s risk. Any claims for damage, loss or late delivery should be addressed to the carrier.

The customer should examine the articles carefully on their receipt.
The customer must pay the price quoted for the products and shipment, as well as any customs duties, value added or other tax due on import to the country of delivery.

Ownership

The merchandise remains the property of Hervé N. Sellier until it is paid for in full.

Exchanges and refunds

No returns, exchanges or refunds are accepted.
We take the greatest care at all stages of production, including packaging for shipment, and the products leave our premises in perfect condition and well protected.

Claims

The customer is responsible for verifying that the items received correspond to the order.

Any claims must be made within 48 hours of receipt of the merchandise. Otherwise it will not be honored.
As mentioned above, the merchandise is shipped at the customer’s risk.

Any claims must be addressed first to Hervé N. Sellier. If it is impossible to come to an amicable agreement, the Tribunal de Commerce du Mans (Le Mans Trade Tribunal) will have the final say, regardless of where the delivery was made.
